In response to the Georgia State Governor’s Guidelines, <read here> the following operating procedures will be put into place until further notice. These procedures are in place to avoid the entire company becoming sick at one time.

  1. All employees will distance themselves from other employees at all times, except those cohabitating. Employees will continue to use best sanitation practices including washing hands, social distancing, and not touching their face. Plumbers will be dispatched from home. Plumbers will place all paperwork in their box in the technician office, and attempt to limit contact with all objects as best as possible. Where possible plumbers will use virtual contact including video chat and telephone.

  2. Any technician feeling ill, exhibiting a temperature >100 Degrees Fahrenheit, or having an unexplained cough will report themselves to management.

  3. All delivery of parts and tools will be conducted using a dead drop technique to avoid cross contamination. When touching any company tool, gloves will be worn and discarded as necessary. When collecting and delivering parts, helpers or staff will wear gloves in order to limit contamination to plumbers.

  4. Helpers will be limited to which plumbers they work with. No helper will assist more than two plumbers within a week, with direct contact. This does not limit helpers from assisting in non-contact jobs, IE jet jobs or parts delivery.

  5. Office staff will work from home. Office staff are still considered on the clock, and will ensure they do not lapse in their required duties. Open communication will be key. Office staff may take communications equipment home in order to conduct their duties.

  6. All employees will use the digital time sheets and truck inspections. Only necessary paperwork which has been left in the technician boxes for a period of six hours or more will be handled by others. If there is no time sheet on record for the previous day, plumbers will not be dispatched.

  7. All employees have received a company pass, signed and notarized for use in case a law enforcement official questions the validity of their work. Employees will only use this pass for company related duties, IE driving to and from work, taking parts to plumbers, or conducting jobs.
